☘ Ayurvedam - turmeric

Yellow (Latin Curcuma longa) Ginger beet. It is said that the beet got its name from the yellow color on the inside. Turmeric is one of the most important spices in cooking. Turmeric has been used in India for almost six thousand years as a medicine, a cosmetic, an important ingredient in cooking, and for rubbing on clothes. It seems that the Buddhist disciples wore robes dyed with yellow two thousand years ago. Hindus in India start any good deed in their daily life with yellow. It is no exaggeration to say that in our country there is no yellow, unused house. The town of Sangli in Maharashtra has the highest yellow trade in the world. Turmeric has been used by Indians for at least 3000 years. Yellow acts as an antidote for everything from minor injuries to cancer. In our country, turmeric is used in food in the name of color, aroma and medicinal properties. Yellow disinfectant ... kills germs. Yellowing of wounds and sores on the body will prevent germs from entering ... No septic, it will heal quickly. It is a great ingredient of nature. Its "curcumin" acts as an antiseptic that reduces inflammation.

Yellow beet is widely grown in hilly areas. Homemade turmeric, which is carved on beets and sun-dried, is used especially for worship and home cooking. Yellow is very important commercially. Yellow horns, yellow (dry) are made from yellow beets through various processes. Turmeric is rich in vitamins and salts as well as phytonutrients and phosphorus which contribute to good health. Jaundice contains hundreds of molecules that have antibiotic, anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, and antioxidant properties that contribute to various life processes. Yellow beets contain an important substance called curcumin. Yellow is a natural yellow color due to a substance called curcumin.


Medicine for many diseases:

Acne: Guava leaves mixed with turmeric, Sputum: Drink with a little turmeric in hot water. Decreases sputum.

• Purification of blood: Consumption of a little bit of turmeric in the diet purifies the blood.

Cough, cold: Steam with turmeric in boiling water,

Pains, sprains: Yellow, salt, lime should be held together.

Diabetes: Drink turmeric mixed with turmeric powder in beer .Diabetes is under control. Soak a yellow horn in a small glass of water and soak it overnight. This water helps in controlling cholesterol and blood pressure.

Ayurvedic properties:

Heat milk and mix it with a pinch of turmeric and pepper powder before going to bed at night to reduce cough.

Fragrant marijuana mixed with turmeric reduces skin diseases.

Squeeze the yellow horns, dilute them in water or rub the yellow powder with water. The sores will go away.

• If the paste is mixed with heat and turmeric, it will reduce itching, inflammation and inflammation in skin diseases like smallpox, itching, eczema etc.

Soak a clean cloth in water mixed with turmeric and dry it in the shade and wipe the eyes while it is still slightly dry to reduce eye diseases.

• Take turmeric and sandalwood in equal proportions, make a paste and apply it on the face. After drying, rinse with cold water to brighten the face.

• Pomegranate, sweet potato and lemon peels are dried and rubbed on the body along with turmeric before bathing to soothe the dirt in the pores.

Mix turmeric, sandalwood powder and rose water into a paste and apply on the face and wash off after a while. This will reduce the appearance of pimples on the face.

 In the evening, if you burn incense, turmeric, sambarani and dirisena leaves in the house to prevent mosquitoes and insects.

• Chickenfox (Atlamma) disease can be relieved by rubbing sandalwood, turmeric, basil and neem gently on the body.
Finely chop the turmeric and mix it with buttermilk once a day to reduce chronic skin diseases as well as diarrhea and arthritis.

• Applying yellow coriander leaf juice daily on the face like a mask before going to bed every night can prevent pimples and scars. The skin becomes rough and supple. Flax flowers mixed with turmeric and finely squeezed juice can be used as a medicine two or three drops a day to relieve conjunctivitis.

• Heat, turmeric mixed with water and boiled to write on the hands and feet to reduce leg
 cracks.


Uses:

skin beauty:

Yellow contributes to the beauty of the body both externally and internally. Cleanses and nourishes the skin properly. Traditionally sesame oil is mixed with turmeric and used for bathing. Also, almond oil, cream and honey mixed with turmeric can be added to the bath to enhance the beauty. Where there is pain, bruising or bruising, writing yellow on the swelling will greatly reduce the associated pain. Acne can have serious psychological consequences, especially for adolescents. Apply yellow dung half an hour before bathing every morning and take a bath afterwards to improve health as well as body fat. First aid:

Jaundice helps to stop bleeding from the body when bruises and injuries occur. Accidents, as well as some mental disorders associated with other events, are often cured by drinking two teaspoons of turmeric and two teaspoons of ghee in a cup of hot water at such times. Jaundice helps to regulate the processes that take place in various organs of the body.

gastrointestinal problems:

Reduces gas in the stomach and gastrointestinal tract.
Protects the digestive tract from certain harmful foods.

 Bleeding from the rectum can be reduced by taking 2 or 3 teaspoons of turmeric mixed with rice or milk.

For watery diarrhea / diarrhea 10 g in a cup of yogurt. Or add 2 teaspoons of turmeric and eat less.

Our ancestors believed that people suffering from hemorrhoids (piles) could get relief by rubbing a mixture of turmeric, castor oil and saline on the piles.

Liver:

Protects the liver from toxic substances.
Increases the production of bile or bile produced in the liver.

Reduces the level of bad (LDL) cholesterol in the blood and prevents heart disease.

• The antioxidants in turmeric boost the body's immune system and prevent diseases.

Yellow that kills cancer:

Jaundice prevents cancer of the lungs, breast, uterus, mouth and other parts of the body. Jaundice causes various cells in the body to fight cancer, creating conditions in which cancer cannot reach the body. Researchers have found that turmeric has the ability to kill cancer cells, and that a chemical called turmeric, curcumin, has the ability to kill cancer cells within 24 hours. Curcumin has the power to heal wounds and protect against infections. 

Amulet for the liver with turmeric:

Protects against severe cirrhosis of the liver. Curcumin, a substance present in turmeric, keeps liver cells healthy. The pigment in turmeric prevents blockages in the bile ducts.
For the prevention of Alzheimer's disease
In patients with Alzheimer's disease, jaundice improves their brain function. The antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of curcumin in turmeric are attributed to this effect.

Another chemical in turmeric is tumorone. In animal studies, it has been reported that tumorone stimulates new brain cells. Tumeron is very helpful in treating Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative conditions.

• Curcumin in turmeric also improves brain function in people with diabetes. It prevents diabetic neuropathy by improving insulin production.

Lowers cholesterol and protects the heart
It is estimated that 31% of those who die worldwide each year die from cardiovascular disease. That's almost 18 million people!

Curcumin in turmeric prevents heart disease. Its antioxidant properties prevent cardiotoxicity and diabetes-related heart problems.
The anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric 
prevent irregular heartbeats.

Studies in rats have shown that curcumin can also be used to treat high blood pressure. If blood pressure is not treated, it can lead to heart attack. In people with severe coronary syndrome, curcumin lowers bad cholesterol levels. 

Black turmeric :


Black turmeric (Latin Curcuma caesia) is a rare yellow that is used for sorcery and sorcery. It is found in the Narmada River region of Madhya Pradesh, in the northeastern states, rarely in the Eastern Ghats, and in Nepal. 
The tubers of this plant, which are grown in Bengal, are used in the manufacture of cosmetics. 
 

The black and yellow plant is also known as Nilakantha, Narakachura and Krishta Kedara. Nisha, Nishi, Rajini and the night plant mentioned in Ayurvedic texts are considered to be black and yellow. The inside of the tuber is dark blue-black, the flower is dark pink. This type of turmeric used in the worship of Goddess Kali is called Kali Haldi in Hindi. Kali means black. Hence the name black yellow for this type of yellow. Black turmeric in English is called Black Turmeric.

Black turmeric is cultivated in many parts of Andhra Pradesh today. According to the Forest Department, it is an endangered species of rare yellow species. It is an offense under Indian Forest Act to sell, possess or grow it. 

Many tribes in India believe that the evil spirits will go away if the black beet is pocketed or hung on the gourd, and that the black beet is the embodiment of the goddess. Black beet is especially used in tantric studies. In the Keshkal hills of Chhattisgarh, magicians make a paste of black turmeric with cow urine and apply it on the forehead like saffron. Kangaroo wizards paste black turmeric into cow urine, place it on the forehead like saffron, and put some blood around it.

Tribals crush black beet and use the juice for side pain, flatulence and bruising.


In Uttaranchal Chamoli district pets are given black-yellow powder mixed with lukewarm water when they have a stomach ache; Beet juice is drunk when fever and gas are a problem, and beet paste is applied to bruises.

In Arunachal Pradesh, Apatani eat black and yellow beet at night to relieve cough and asthma.

 In the Chhattisgarh-Bastar region, the seeds are cleaned with lukewarm water and blackened paste is applied to them.

 In the Lohit district of eastern Arunachal Pradesh, the Khanti tribes apply black and yellow paste to snake and scorpion bites, or Andrographis Paniculata seeds to the noori bite. 

medicinal properties:

Black beet is useful for piles, leprosy, bronchitis, asthma, cancer, AIDS, epilepsy, fevers, sores, infertility, sex problems, menstrual disorders, toothache, vomiting. However, black and yellow beet should not be used without consulting an Ayurvedic doctor.
